Haleem Sessions 2014

One thing that almost every Hyderabadi wait's is Holy Month of Ramazan, for two basic reasons first lot of festivities and second Haleem(you guess it, right).

Haleem is said to be introduced in India by Irani nationals who were staying in India from a long time.

Food Review 1: My Cafe Latte Karkhana

Being near to my place, I have been going here from past 4 years and this place has never disappointed me in terms of Coffee. This is one of the best place where i can order a frappe and expect a perfect frappe receipe not a extra sweet or creamy like other joints.
The place gives a free wi-fi and also has pub inside that serves nice music, sheesha and even liquor. When it comes to food the place is above average with Continental food being good especially pastas but lack the expertise in chinese. The place has good desserts and have regular events that you can enjoy on weekends.
So next time you are sec-bad do visit this place.
Also to add on they have yummy sizzlers too added on the menu.

Over Coffee

Wohooo !!!finally a day off from work or you can say i bunked it(its very common for me), but it was special as it was my first leave/bunk from office in past 3 months. It was nice awesome weather, thanks to cyclone that day in bay area. I was planning what to do? and i suddenly realized its been days i dint go for a bike drive. So, got my beast Pulsar 220 out and set out for a drive. I was in midst of my journey and cyclone played upon, it started raining heavily. All I could was to rush to some place and on the highway i landed up into a Cafe'(not the Irani Chai one :P).
I entered cafe' asked barista for a hot cuppa.I grabbed a book from the side table and started reading it.
"Hey, how come you here?" a voice called, I turned around and found my college junior standing behind me. I also asked him the same as this place was unusual bit farther from city.He told "I came with my girlfriend". Next question obviously was "Where is she and Who?" as i din see any girl around, he told she was in washroom as they both got drenched.
We both sat down,Oops i forgot to introduce him. He is the Ex-Col. son Rakesh Singh, as long as i remember he aspired to be in army. His haircut and mustache looked like he was in army but wasnt sure about it. So i popped up a question" You in Army, right?".
He said "No, I am still trying for it". I said "Ohhkk, Your appearance made you look that you are already in". He then lit up a cigarette and started smoking, I asked him when did you start smoking. He told me, for joining army he has started adapting that lifestyle of smoking and drinking as this gives him "GENTLEMEN" feeling. His answer was good enough for me to thank god, that i dropped my plan of joining armed forces, I wouldn't have adapted to this mad rush.
So, I thought it would be great to discuss with this guy about Anti-Graft movement and corruption as he is going to join army must be passionate about our country as i am.So i asked him what did he think about it. He told me, he doesn't give a shit about whatever happens in politics,he will be part of army and not a civilian.
Now here was an answer i hated from him.I asked aren't civilians part of this country and isn't corruption prevails in army too, shouldn't we fight against it.His next answer was real amazing"Its something civilians get it to army, Armed forces people are not corrupt". This pissed me off.
I asked him"how can you say that". He told"I know it, We live to glory and for country". I counter questioned him "Aren't civilians and corruption part of this country". I want to join army to enjoy to get a good 5 digit salary and my dad's influence would get me posted in some relief areas , I can drink and enjoy the armed forces party and have a good time spending my life".
Before i could say anything, i heard another voice "My mushy mushy darling lets go, rain has also stopped. I need to be home before 8".She was Rakesh's girlfriend. He introduced me too her and i can
say she was blonde and dumb seeing her face.So he left in 5 minutes after some PDA in front of me.

He left but also left a question to me "Aren't we responsible for our country?. Is our youth going crazy behind unrealistic things in life.I don't know which knowledge center is mus-guiding them."
and to add on "I don't want such people to defend my country, i feel so unsafe now".

But its time for us to realize what is important for our country, rather then sitting on our ambitions. Our country needs a good corruption free environment not the one we have now.I wanna change it.
